As Chief Executive Officer of Power & Tel, Jennifer Sims leads the organizational strategic vision to drive improvement in communication, distribution, and material management solutions to fuel overall profitable growth. Driven by a family legacy of company ownership, Ms. Sims is passionate about continuing Power & Tel’s sterling reputation of high-quality service and uncompromising ethics in the communications industry. As an advocate in the communications industry, Sims serves as Treasurer on the Executive Board of Directors for the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) and as Treasurer on the Executive Board of Directors of QuEST Forum. This year she is pleased to be a part of the inaugural Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Chapter of Greater Memphis-Jackson, serving as their Board President. Jennifer Sims holds an MBA, with concentrations in Finance and MIS, from the University of Tennessee in addition to her BA in Communications from Vanderbilt University. Sims has also received her CTM Certifications through the University of Southern California (USC) and certificate from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business YPO Executive Program.
