Carlos Torres

Syncmaster

Carlos Torres is genuine human’s chief editor, lighting designer and frequent director of photography.

He was born the son of a frustrated filmmaker and photography teacher in Mayaguez Puerto Rico.

Tagging along as his Dad shot his twin reflex camera for a living, Carlos learned the nuts and bolts at a young age, along with an appreciation for great cinema. College brought him to the states, where he earned a degree in aviation management and a pilot’s license.

But he soon swapped the air for the airwaves, working in the technical and promotion side of commercial television. A self-taught musician, Carlos has also composed original music for productions by Nashville’s WSMV-TV , Tier One Media and genuine human. His keen ear has earned him the nickname “syncmaster.”. Carlos is married with 2 daughters, Hannah and Zellie. Thankfully for us, he has an unquenchable thirst for new technology.
