Janet Brewster was born in La Lima, Honduras. Janet is a graduate of the University of New Orleans and holds a Bachelors of Science (BS) Degree in Business Administration. In 1989, Janet became a US Citizen. Ten years later, Janet realized her life long dream of owning and operating her own company, Brewster Procurement Group, Inc. Janet has volunteered as a lobbyist for the overall NASA budget and its importance to small businesses in Washington, D.C.
She is a past presenter at the Space Shuttle Supplier’s Symposium on “Perfect Order Fulfillment”. Janet has been presented numerous awards for her work in industry and community. She is a past Board Member of Louisiana Minority Supplier Development Council (LAMSDC) and holds memberships in Southern Region Minority Supplier Development Council (formerly known as LAMSDC), Houston Minority Supplier Development Council (HMSDC), Institute of Supply Management (ISM), and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). She presently serves on the board of the Women’s Business Enterprise Council South as the Regional Director for the Lafayette/Lake Charles, Louisiana area.
The mother of 3 sons, her loves are family, faith, business, and community. Janet operates and manages Brewster Procurement and is the Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation.
