Nancy Collat Goedecke, Mayer Chairman and CEO since 2008, serves as the principal executive officer of Mayer and presides over all official meetings of the Board of Directors and stockholders. She is a member of the Senior Management Team and the Executive Leadership Team.
In addition to her role as Chairman & CEO of Mayer, Nancy is an active member in the community, serving on the boards of the Directors for the Alabama Productivity Center, American Red Cross, Birmingham Business Alliance, Birmingham Zoo, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Alabama, Federal Reserve Bank, Leadership Birmingham, Rotary Club and UAB Leadership Cabinet. She was the first woman chosen in the 93-year history of the United Way of Central Alabama (UWCA) to chair the organization's annual fundraising campaign. She has also served as Campaign Chair for American Heart Association's Go Red for Women and has served in various capacities with Collat Jewish Family Services, Girl Scouts, Junior League, Pathways and YWCA. Nancy was also appointed as the first female Chair of the Birmingham Business Alliance.
